Clarke Cable are pleased to announce the acquisition of the business that previously operated as Stacey Cables. The company has a fantastic reputation for producing high-quality wiring looms and harnesses for applications such as electric and hybrid vehicles, and also buses, trucks and trailers. With over 30 years of experience in this very specialist field, we are delighted to bring these skills and experience into the Clarke Cable family.
We believe this brings additional highly skilled capabilities to the existing specialist cable manufacturing facilities in our UK factory, based in Congleton. We are excited to explore what this conjoined skillset brings to our overall capabilities and will be looking to expand this further as we combine the two business units. We’re also delighted to announce that David Shelmerdine is joining the senior management team at Clarke Cables in the capacity of General Manager. We look forward to his experience and leadership bringing new exciting developments in the future.

Using our specialist manufacturing processes all in-house at our UK factory, we are able to supply a complete range of custom-built cable assemblies of all styles and complexity in both low and high volumes. Unlike our overseas competitors, we produce all our cables and assemblies in the UK, to a very high standard using high-quality components assembled via our specialist teams. Our agility as a business means we can often accommodate shorter production runs and even shorter lead times. Our proximity to our customers also enables collaboration and flexibility throughout the process to make sure the end results are exactly what is needed without any nasty surprises upon delivery.
