Having reworked hundreds of such damaged cables and connectors for the industry, we know only too well their vulnerability to harsh environments, repeated usage, and rough handling during installation and break-down.
Our design team have used this knowledge to develop a solution, in the form of a compact, lightweight and robust thermoplastic rubber overmould at the back of the connector.
This provides greatly enhanced strain relief at the junction of cable and connector, increased protection against the elements, and an extended non-slip surface for easier handling and installations.
