The connector contact pins are over moulded with flame retardant PVC, incorporating a flexible PVC strain relief grommet.

Often used with audio equipment where a floating ground is required to eliminate electric hum. Also found on various industrial cleaning machines, including Kirby vacuum cleaners, and on the power supply cable of Xbox 360 games consoles.
